The Bachar Houli Foundation welcomed more than 1000 guests across Australia during the Holy Month of Ramadan through its annual Iftar dinners.
A staple on the Foundation’s calendar, the Iftar dinners brought together community leaders, sporting partners and families across Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland, celebrating connection, unity and shared understanding during Ramadan.
Events were held at some of Australia’s most iconic venues, including the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Optus Stadium, Adelaide Oval, and the Australian International Islamic College in Queensland.
The largest gathering took place in the heart of Western Sydney, where over 700 guests were hosted at the home of the GWS GIANTS, with several players and club representatives joining the evening.
Across the five events, the Foundation welcomed more than 1000 attendees, reflecting the support from partners and communities nationally.
The Foundation’s annual Iftar dinners remain an important initiative to bring people together during Ramadan and celebrate the values of community, gratitude and connection.
