The Senior Girls Sports Academy involves a three-day, non-residential camp for girls aged between 15 to 17-years-old from an Islamic background, focusing on multi-sport high-performance training, education and leadership.
The Academy places a strong emphasis on maximising the sporting potential of each participant in a culturally-safe and supportive environment.
Participants from all sporting codes are selected based on their sporting potential.
The Bachar Houli Foundation’s National Senior Girls Academy brings together Muslim girls from across Australia for a three-day residential program.
With a strong focus on excellence in performance, four participants are selected from each of the BHF’s five participating states based on their sporting potential, forming the national cohort for the year.
The location for the Academy rotates annually. In 2025, the program will take place in New South Wales.
