The Bachar Houli Foundation Coaching Pathways Program is an initiative designed to provide aspiring Muslim coaches opportunities to fast-track their development and increase technical skills.

The program is delivered by experienced coaches and is supported by the AFL’s National Coaching Program by providing accreditation and coaching pathways.

The selected coaches will participate in the Foundation’s National and State Academies, and engage in a 12-month program with development sessions set up throughout the year intended to provide practical skills and takeaways for coaches to apply at their local or representative level.

In previous years, Port Adelaide premiership coach Mark ‘Chocco’ Williams, current Richmond coach Adem Yze and former Carlton coach David Teague have been involved as mentors.
