The Bachar Houli Foundation Senior Girls Sports Academy is a year-long program designed for 15 to 17-year-old Islamic girls hosted in Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland.
The Academy framework focuses on multi-sport high performance training, education and leadership for Muslim girls across Australia.
The 12-month program starts with a three-day intensive non-residential camp where participants, in a culturally-safe environment, will be exposed to a high-performance environment, learning about physical fitness, peak performance, leadership and identity.
Participants will engage in follow-up days throughout the calendar year, engaging with their mentors who will provide guidance and support on personal and physical goals.
Brought to life by dedicated coaches and high-performance staff, the Academy framework has been developed to maximise the sporting potential of each participant in a culturally-safe and supportive environment.
The Academy is the pathway into the Bachar Houli Foundation’s National Senior Girls Academy – a five-day residential program centred around peak performance, leadership and identity.
